The Waters of Life
Understanding that life is serving us means recognizing that every experience, challenge, and circumstance we encounter has a purpose in shaping us. When we embrace this understanding, we begin to view each piece of our life as a valuable teacher and supporter, rather than an obstacle or burden.
When I first began to wake up to what life was really about, I had this surge of energy laced with a desire to go out and 'fix' the world. I had become acutely aware of the unnecessary pain and confusion people were in, and I deeply wanted to change the human experience for the better.
This feeling is something most people go through when they start to awaken to a greater understanding of life. However, it was during that time that I received invaluable wisdom from a spiritual guide, a man who would shape my perspective forever. He said, "God didn't make a mistake. We need the world exactly as it is so that we can advance. We need the good and the bad because it all serves us. There's nothing here to fix."
These words initiated an acute shift in my perception. I realized that every moment in life presents us with an opportunity to journey from fear to love. Each moment, regardless of its position on the scale of life, is a gift offering us this transformative opportunity. Therefore, every moment is something to be grateful for…yes, even the difficult ones.
Everything, absolutely everything is presenting you with the choice to choose either fear or love. Everything, absolutely everything is a reflection of the level of love you have currently raised yourself to.
To choose to release your fears and return to love is always the game.
By embracing the idea that life is serving us (everything is love), we develop a deep trust in the unfolding of events. We no longer view challenges as obstacles but as something that leads to growth and self-discovery.
This shift in perspective also enables us to let go of the need to control or manipulate our external circumstances. Instead of trying to change the world to fit our personal desires, we focus on our own inner transformation. We understand that by embodying love, compassion, and authenticity in our own lives, we create a ripple effect that positively impacts the world around us.
With the understanding that life is serving us, what is there left to fear?
